In this video we take a tour of our permaculture garden, Feuilles de Vie. It’s November 1st and the weather has been getting colder for 2-3 weeks now. The garden is doing well. Some trees are still in fruit (or flower) and we’re looking forward to seeing what happens next year.
A permaculture garden is a sustainable system that aims to mimic natural patterns to grow food ecologically. It promotes biodiversity, resource conservation and soil regeneration to create a self-sufficient ecosystem. By incorporating principles such as crop rotation, composting and planting native species, it aims to minimize the ecological footprint while promoting food production.
